Oregon State Police Summarily Execute Josiah Fischer

OP-NAT EYE
May 4, 2013 (UPDATED 2:10pm Pacific)

An Oregon State cop shot and killed a man last night around 7 p.m.; and at noon today, police were still saying they “don’t know what happened.”

One witness told KATU Channel 2 in Portland (see below) they saw the cop car pursuing another car down U.S. Highway 30 between the small towns of St. Helens and Scappoose. The cop car rammed the rear bumper of the other car, forcing it to crash into a ditch. Another witness then said the driver, who is now being identified as 27-year-old Josiah Fischer, exited the car and put “an arm” up. The cop then fired at least four shots, killing Mr. Fischer instantly. A third witness said she heard the cop yell something to the effect of “put the gun down” after Fischer was already dead. U.S. police often yell “put the gun down” when they know witnesses are present, so the “feared for our lives” story can be utilized to justify the execution.

KGW Channel 8 in Portland said the cops “recovered a gun they believe” belonged to Mr. Fischer. Deliberately complicating and elongating simple, 2-plus-2 facts like this is also standard U.S. police protocol when preparing their tale for the public. The police also originally told local media the person they killed was a female. Though every eyewitness speaks of only one cop shooting and killing Mr. Fischer, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, the entity “investigating” the execution, told KATU two cops were involved: Justin Oxenrider and Robin May.

Local media are expected to launch their inevitable attacks on the character of Mr. Fischer as soon as possible, to help justify the murder in the eyes of American cop-suckers.

We will update as more information comes in.

I knew josiah. I was with him the day he was killed. We had a great day hiking and playing our instruments.
He is a beautiful soul and i will always love josiah. I say innocent until proven guilty.
Police should not be allowed to get away with this with out undoubtable proof.
The truth is if one of the general public shoots another, they are required to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that their life was in immediate danger. Just because the police have a badge and a gun gives them no right to throw away a persons life like this. This happens all over the country. Its not just the gangsters and lunatics who kill people. Some of our most trusted public servants are guilty of this…..

Although my family knew him just a short time he was an intelligent, soft spoken, gentle spirit. He presented with clarity and patience to us in teaching us computer programs.A clear and coherent, articulate young man. So, why didn’t they like him ? It always seems to be the kids who are actually nice ones, not the generational bad ones in town. The day this happened, I was on the road in St Helens, near the High School and Hwy 30 it was apparent all week things were going on with police raids,..another raid on a home by this HS and several arrests of young people. I didn’t even know this was Josiah until someone told me, I can’t stand looking at our local news anymore. I missed his funeral. Young people have been a continued targets in this county as we noted around the country here lately,[ they are commodity] and for all the 20 yrs of our unfortunate residency here..we have seen the graveyard filled with young people.I have even mentioned this to the newspapers and they refuse to write about it at all. The jails-mental health are always creating a revolving door with them…. The entire county needs to be investigated but this one, really upset us with Josiah. Interesting as usual how fast they brushed this away with no real reasons for anything. I just wish your paper here had a way to talk to you and not write …nonetheless, I am and my family is all sick from this. Josiah even worked for { actually did the work] for another computer guy who use to work for the city for 20 yrs here. As everything here, its all too strange. Blessings to Josiah’s family and friends, we are all so sorry for your loss as it is a loss to us all and needs to be investigate not dropped !

I knew Josiah, and proclaim this supposed behavior is uncharacteristic of him.
If anyone has questions, he and I were good friends. I can attest that he had no firearm.
