LAS VEGAS — An accident involving an inadvertent bullet being fired and grazing a young child in a private residence ended with police burglarizing the home and killing a distraught grandfather.
The summary execution occurred last Friday in central Las Vegas in the home of Ms. Laurie McMillan and her common-law husband, Mr. Sammie Clay. According to Las Vegas Police, who call themselves “metro,” five of their cops – Brian Jackson, Larry Miles, Jacob Legrow, Brian Walter and Roberto Medina – arrived at the home around 11 p.m. after receiving a call from University Medical Center about an 8-year-old girl being admitted because of a bullet wound. Vegas police say their cops saw “fresh blood” outside the residence, so they “made entry” into the home and immediately were fired upon by Mr. Clay. One of the cops, Jackson, was grazed, while the rest of them fired several shots back, according to police. Police say Mr. Clay, 56, then “barricaded” himself in the home for three hours until he was pronounced dead at about 2:15 a.m. Saturday morning. Vegas police say they will not comment further, but they did in fact reward the five shooters with a paid vacation, aka “paid administrative leave.”
Watch a report from ABC-13 Action News in Las Vegas.
Ms. McMillan said the entire episode was a freak accident and Mr. Clay went into complete shock and froze when he saw his little granddaughter, Jhalisa, bleeding as a result of the bullet penetrating a wall and grazing her. And because state-run media were broadcasting several sensationalized “reports” about the incident after the family rushed Jhalisa to the hospital, Mr. Clay thought he may have accidentally killed her. Ms. McMillan and Mr. Mike Jacobs, who is Mr. Clay’s cousin, said they returned to their home after Jhalisa was stitched up, only to be greeted by several cop cars. Both family members said they asked police if they could go into the home and talk to Mr. Clay, tell him Jhalisa was not seriously injured and hopefully calm down a situation already way out of hand because of unwanted police involvement. Instead, police told the family to “get as far away as possible,” then arrested Ms. McMillan for a “warrant” for “littering.”
Of course state-run media, following standard protocol, dug up and printed/broadcasted a “prior criminal record” of Mr. Clay, which they use to justify summary executions all across the USA. State-run media also fabricated a story, saying police were called to the home as a result of a “domestic disturbance,” which Ms. McMillan said is completely false. Vegas police at first would not confirm how Mr. Clay ultimately died, but the coroner’s report said he died from a single gun shot wound to the chest. Though police are now saying it was “suicide,” it is very difficult for someone to shoot himself in the chest and die. The mystery could easily be solved if the caliber of bullet found in Mr. Clay’s body is revealed to determine whether it matches his gun or the cops’ guns. However, Vegas police say they will not comment further.
Though it is clear the United States is now (and has been for decades) a full-fledged fascist police state, these government henchmen have now destroyed the lives of an entire family because they believe they have the right to interfere with Americans’ everyday lives. Mr. Clay’s family never called police nor asked the government henchmen to get involved, yet this is life in the new NDAA/Patriot Act/H.R. 347 America. Americans have no rights period anymore, and Mr. Clay (if he really shot this cop with the flesh wound) went out the way any real, free citizen would. Mr. Clay was already distraught, trying to figure out what happened, then all of a sudden a gang of armed government henchmen barged into his home without permission. Americans (especially on “the right”) continue talking about getting government out of our lives and wanting less government, but generally seem to make an exception when it comes to cops killing, assaulting and raping fellow citizens. These Vegas cops were salivating at the sight of blood outside the McMillan/Clay residence, knowing they had an opportunity to shoot their toys at living humans, with the reward of paid vacation if they kill one.
Ms. McMillan was released from the Clark County Jail Saturday afternoon, unaware of the death of her common-law husband until young Jhalisa asked who shot him. We’ll continue to follow this story, as we expect Clark County and/or Vegas police to continue the persecution of Ms. McMillan over the artificial “littering crime” to help justify the summary execution. Our thoughts are with the family of Mr. Clay.
